Choose a color. Imagine where you find this color in the world. Give this color a personality, a life of its own. Use your words and imagination to breathe life into this color.
Create a name for your color. Visualize its character without using generic color names. Basically, you are not allowed to use common or already existing color names. : )
Describe your color using poetic devices. What is this color like? What is this color? What does this color do? How does it act.
Now that your mission is complete, choose your favorite of each type of device and write a poem, adding even more of your own words! Play around with the format of your poem so it looks as awesome as it sounds! Remember to use line breaks, tabbing, spaces. Poems do NOT need to have complete sentences...focus on the descriptions and personality of this color!
